Programme Description
Free practical business training courses are offered as well as access to networks and facilities where small businesses can operate from. Funding in the form of loan schemes, bridging finance, micro equity fund and micro finance is also offered. Those without work experience are exposed to work experiences, with mentorship programmes and counselling.
Target Market
Indigent youths from the Western Cape
Application Process
Interested people should contact TSiBA using the information that has been given.
Application Conditions
Applicants should be prepared to transfer the skills they acquire to members of their communities.
They should be prepared to write a test which includes maths before they are admitted, as well as undergoing an interview to assess their compatibility with the TSiBA culture
Success Stories
i. Babalwa Chulayo, a Cooperative Development Officer at Township Patterns, which is a not for profit organisation involved in economic growth and the empowerment of women is a graduate from the programme and is now assisting others in her community.
ii. Ryane Moses, a founding member of NEBULA which is a non profit organisation
