Programme Description

There are business development programmes, training courses and mentorship programmes that are available. Also available is relevant industry information, market access information and opportunities. 

A Business Development Fund which can reimburse up to 50% of the cost of qualifying business expenses is also available.


Target Market

Micro, small and medium tourism businesses


Application Process

Commitment to the business

The organisation must pay an annual subscription of R600 as well as a commitment fee of 10% per service used.


Success Stories

 i.            Bruce Noble of Nhlamulo Destinations from Limpopo received 50% financial assistance from TEP on a business trip to Mauritius and also participated in TEP`s business training workshops in: Business Skills Training, Marketing in Tourism, and Business Administration

ii.            Amina Jacobs, a Director at the Cape Town International Airport’s domestic arrival hall sent some of her staff to attend the TEP training sessions and they came back with a greater understanding of their role in customer service. She was so pleased with the result that she plans to send another group for training

iii.            Persi Mposelwa of Hamba Nathi Travel in Bloemfontein is grateful for the service and support that they receive from TEP
