Programme Description

A grant ranging from 50 000 to R100 000 is available as seed funding.


Target Market

Women-owned and/or youth-owned businesses 

Businesses owned by and/or employing persons with disabilities. Rural based organizations are favoured in this programme.  The businesses must be less than 2 years old.

Applications, made during the 4 application periods should be made to The Enterprise Support Consultant whose details are given below.


Success Stories

i.            Basadi Women Technical Productions, is a production company that is owned by Ivy Halieo Mafahla, (39), operating in Cape Town. She received a R150 000 grant which was used to purchase technical equipment. She is now looking to grow her business and widen her horizons.

ii.            Elverisa Esmerelda Albrigde is the owner of Kesitah Copy and Print, which is a digital printing company. The R90 000 grant received was used to purchase a new printer. She looks forward to increasing her service offering to her customers in the settlement area of Jansenville, Eastern Cape, where her business is based.
