Programme Description
 
The Sasol Business Incubator is based at the Eco-Industrial Park in Sasolburg. It is aimed at accelerating the successful development of local start-up small, medium-sized and micro enterprises (SMMEs). Business, technical and financial support solutions as well as well-equipped manufacturing facilities, business infrastructure and critical expertise are provided so as to enhance the sustainability of start-up SMMEs.   
 
The overarching aim is to promote SMME sustainability in the manufacturing sector by enabling and hosting a sustainable economic ecosystem that brings together a varied mix of SMMEs, service providers and stakeholders to work together and support each other as well as other businesses within the industrial park.
 

Target Market
  • Entrepreneurs / Start-up enterprises based in South Africa
  • SMMEs (Seed, start-up and growth)
  • Entrepreneurs whose business is registered or is in the process of registration
  • Above 51% black ownership
  • Qualification(relevant tertiary or technical qualification such as NTC B-degree);
  • Skills/experience(evidence provided of experience in the relevant sector- minimum 9 months) and or
  • Certifications (relevant certification from industry accreditation body)
  • Applicants must have a business plan or business concept

  1. Step1 - Send an email to info.[email protected] ,provide a brief overview of your business and state your interest in applying to the SBI
  2. Step 2 - You will receive an automated reply with an application form. Complete the form and attach all relevant business documents and email it back to [email protected]
  3. Step 3 - Your application form will be assessed by the Incubation Manager and if it has met all the criteria an incubation specialist will contact you directly and guide you further through the process.
