Programme Description

Venture Capital Finance to assist BBBEE candidates to participate in strategic projects at early stages of the projects.

NEF will warehouse equity for BBBEE in projects at valuations and then  distribute this to BBBEE companies at lower valuations once the project is operational

The amounts vary from R1million to R5 million


Target Market

BBBEE Companies that are involved in any of the following areas;

·         renewable energy; 

·         business process outsourcing;

·         tourism;

·         manufacturing;

·         mining and mineral beneficiation;

·         agriculture; 

·         textiles; 

·         automobiles;

·         plastics;

·         pharmaceuticals and chemicals; 

·         forestry; 

·         pulp and paper and

·         infrastructure- (telecommunications, healthcare, roads, rail, air ports dams and water).

i.            The BEE partner of DMS Powders received funding of R30 million. It is the largest global supplier of atomised and milled ferrosilicon, producing 42 000 tons per annum.
