Programme Description

Different kinds of products are available as follows: revolving production facility, term loans, working capital, asset finance, contract finance, and quasi equity. Different terms are applicable for each of the products.

The pricing is linked to lending rates, and is influenced by owner contribution and collateral provided, the nature of business, development impact of the venture and the experience of business owners and management.
 

Target Market
 
SMMEs that are in:
  • Agriculture,
  • Franchising, or
  • Supply Chain
 

Application Criteria

  • Business owners must be involved in the business operations and management;
  • A clearly defined marketable product or service must be in place;
  • The business must create or retain jobs on a sustainable basis; and
  • The Fund has a bias to women, youth and people with disabilities, operating in rural, peri-urban and township areas.

 
Application Process

  • Applicants must complete an online application form www.masisizanefund.co.za
  • Applicants must submit all required documents to a relevant regional office;
  • Applicants must be aware that the entire process can take up to 6 months. Involved in the process is a due diligence which includes a site visit and market analysis among other processes.
