Programme: Export Marketing and Investment Assistance Programme – Group Participation Incentive Schemes – Group Inward Buying Mission, Group Inward Investment Mission, National Pavilions, Outward Selling Mission Assistance and Outward Investment Mission Assistance

Type of Support
  • Funding;
  • Exposure to Foreign Markets;
  • Assistance with market research;
  • Support with registration of patents, quality marks and product marks; and
  • Transportation of samples.
 

Programme Description

Assistance is offered for participation at exhibitions- up to R45 000 for exhibition fees. Participants also receive travel and subsistence allowance as well as compensation for costs incurred in the recruitment of new FDI. Costs associated with patent registration in a foreign market, and 50% of the additional costs, capped at R100 000 per annum.
  

Target Market

South African Manufacturers and exporters
Export trading houses – representing at least 3  SMMEs or HDI owned businesses
South African export Councils
Industry Associations, JAG representing at least 5 South African Entities
 

Application Conditions

No incentives are available for the period from 10 December up to and including 10 January of each year 
Application to be submitted 2 months prior to the departure date.
