Programme: Eastern Cape Development Corporation Business Finance

Programme Description

Short and long term business finance is available in this programme in the form of loans or equity as follows;
Short term loans –
  • Construction loans: R100 000 to R20 million over 3 to 36 months
  • Trade Finance: R10 000 to R500 000 over 1 to 6 months
  • Microloans: R20 000 to R500 000  from less than 6 months to 3 years
  • Long term loans-
  • From R500 000 to R 20 million over 5 t0  7 years
  • Equity
  • Non-property: A maximum of R20 million over 5 to 7 years.
  • Property: Minimum of R100 000 and a maximum 0f R20 million over 7 to 10 years.
                

Target Market

Small to medium enterprises which do not necessarily have to be based in the Eastern Cape, however, the major developmental impact must be felt in the Eastern Cape.
It should be noted that participants must be full involved in the activities of the business


Application Process
Applicants are required to submit their business proposals to the ECDC offices.
