Programme: Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship

Programme Description

Practical business skills training, people management, legal and IT courses are on offer. Participants also go through mentorship programmes, and have access to the centre facilities and online resources. Participants are further exposed to markets and capital.  


Target Market

Entrepreneurs. The programme is currently only open to Gauteng residents only.

Success Stories


i.            Simon Yiga and Gideon Mulovhedzi are Branson entrepreneurs who founded Afropark which is an inner city parking management company for Johannesburg CBD property owners.


 ii.             Kotulo Milling which operates in the bakery industry was founded by Sibongile Thafeni. She formed a network of small industry players to whom she supplies key ingredients. She has won R35 000 in completion money as well as R75 000 seed finance and is looking to further grow her business.


iii.            Recess Magazine founded by 23 year old Cleopatra Simelane is an “edutainment” magazine for 14 to 24 year olds is part of the Branson Entrepreneurs as well.
