Programme Description
 
1GIANTleap's ͞South Africa's next tech hero is a start-up program that empowers entrepreneurs to leap from idea to proven concept in the space of 12 weeks. Our start-up Bootcamps-on-steroids are designed to maximize your start-up knowledge in the minimum amount of time. Topics include Lean start-up theory, Agile development, Growth hacking, Access to finance, Sales, Pitching and Digital marketing. You'll be linked to mentors who are experienced tech entrepreneurs themselves and therefore know the drill. They are quick, to the point, and highly flexible, so brace yourself because they come on board running.
Our mentors support you with defining and pivoting your concepts and become your closest partners in crime for the 12-week ride. Building prototypes and products is a pain when you have a limited runway and you're in a hurry to get going. As a start-up entrepreneur you generally find yourself at the bottom of the priority list of any IT dev company. We get it. You will therefore be linked to a team of developers who will support you with building and testing your mockups. At the end of the hero start-up program, you will have a tested concept validated by your customers not only by words but also through letters of intent, ready for product development and company launch. You will pitch to our investment board to be selected for phase 2 – 1GIANTleap's 12m program.
